China will face eight challenges in the global trend of development

The eight challenges are:


The challenge of industrial structure transformation and upgrading. Transformation and upgrading of industrial structure is a good thing, but transformation and upgrading is not easy. In the world, like Latin America and the 90s last century, Japan's industrial structure transformation and upgrading were also due to the failure to improve the economic stagnation. In China, some provinces and cities are facing the difficult task of transformation and upgrading, and they may not be well. This is a great challenge.


Energy challenges. China's industrialization has entered the stage of heavy industry development, and the demand for energy is huge. And China's own energy supply is still relatively inadequate, we must get energy from the international market, so that it will bring a certain degree of challenge to its own development.


The challenge of environmental pollution. The industrialization must be pushed forward, and the environment is inevitably destroyed in a certain range and to a certain extent. We have to do a large amount of investment, but it also takes a process to get the effect. This has also brought us great challenges and pressures.


The gap between the urban and rural areas, the regional gap and the income gap between the various strata of the people are more serious. We are now beginning to emphasize the overall development of urban and rural areas, to co-ordinate regional development, and to emphasize the reform of the income distribution system. But to achieve the desired effect, it also takes a process, which brings new challenges to our next development, as it will affect social stability.


The challenge of the problem of employment. China has more than a billion people, and many of its population is entering the employment stage. Our industrial structure has to upgrade, so we have to increase the industrial technology content and improve the technology content, which excludes employment. So there's such a situation in China that GDP is growing at a high speed, but employment does not grow synchronously. The pressure of employment is very big, and it is a huge challenge.


The challenge of financial risk. Our prices rebounded recently, inflation began to appear, this is a big challenge for China, how in the process of rapid economic development in the control of rising prices, inflation control, maintain stable development, the government is a problem that must be solved.


The challenges ahead of the aging society. In the past, we implemented family planning policy for many years, which brought many benefits and side effects. It brought China's aging society ahead of schedule and brought challenges to our next economic development.


The last challenge is international pressure. China's economy is developing at a high speed and has been under great pressure in the world, such as trade frictions, intellectual property protection and so on. We must promote the economic development of our country while dealing with this international pressure and international friction.
